Oh my it's been awhile

I didn't realize it has been so long since I last posted. And the sad thing is that I haven't really been super busy. I did get AT&T (thank you Joe) and DishNetwork all hooked up last weekend. Haven't had any probs with DSL, but the cable went out last night because of the storm. I forgot that happens, but I think I'll live. I prolly don't need to be watching as much tv as I do. Last weekend my niece, aka Princess Spazzy, had her 4th b-day party at my house. The princess requested a castle cake so Julie and I made one. She only wanted the pink princess (Sleeping Beauty), but I found this cool Disney princess dress up thing so Ariel, Cinderella, and Belle were all wearing their pink dresses too.



Last night I volunteered at Pumpkin Fest. I was in the Delight Tent taking orders for pumpkin ice cream, donuts, fudge, & cookies. I can't believe how many people were out considering the place was a mud pit. I wore my crocs cause I figured at least they would wash, but man did they get dirty. My feet were so muddy that when I got home, I had Jordan and Jake bring my wipies so I could try to wash my feet before coming in the house. That didn't work so well so I had them bring me a couple plastic grocery bags to put on my feet so I wouldn't track mud all over my house. Then today I went back to pumpkin fest to work at the Sensaria booth. I'm not sure I'm made out to work at a booth. I don't like being pushy. I think the mud was even worse this afternoon and they weren't busy so I left a little after 2 instead. I got home and got cleaned up. I think I took a short little nap too. And since a little before 5 I've been making cakes. I offered to make a cake for a coworker who is having a fall celebration at her church tomorrow. It's gotta feed 100 people so I'm making 4 9x13 cakes and stacking side by side and on top of each other. Guess I'm really making 5 because then I'm gonna carve one into a cross and then try to outline a dove on another piece of cake. It should be interesting. I'll be sure to post a pic later.

Alrighty - gotta get back to cleaning up the kitchen a little and I need to make more frosting.=)
